BRITA Extra C-Tap
BRITA's undercounter tap for UAE workplaces of 20 to 100 people: still, chilled, semi-sparkling, sparkling and instant hot water from one brushed steel spout.
What it does.
- Five water types: ambient still, chilled still, chilled semi-sparkling, chilled sparkling and instant hot
- Instant hot water at up to 95 degrees with anti-scald protection, for tea, instant coffee and pour-over
- Cooling capacity of 85 litres per hour to hold peak lunch demand
- Two boiler options: medium (20 L/h, 1.8 litre draw-off) or large (30 L/h, 6 litre draw-off)
- Built-in BRITA filtration to 0.5 micron that also conditions against limescale and protects the boiler
- Brushed steel spout with a capacitive glass touch panel, designed for front of house

BRITA Extra C-Tap in the UAE
The Extra C-Tap suits client-facing offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi where the pantry is on show. A glass touch panel sits on a brushed steel spout, and everything else hides under the counter.
It chills 85 litres an hour for the lunch rush. Its BRITA filter works down to 0.5 micron, which deals with what a building tank adds before it reaches the glass.

How hot is the hot water?
Up to 95 degrees, with anti-scald protection. That covers tea, instant coffee and pour-over.
Which boiler should a UAE office choose?
The medium boiler gives 20 litres an hour with a 1.8 litre draw-off. The large one gives 30 litres an hour with a 6 litre draw-off, for busier floors.

UAE mains water is desalinated and fairly soft: DEWA reports a typical hardness of 60.7 mg/l in Dubai. Most problems start in building tanks and pipework, so filtration and UV usually matter more here than softening.
