Filtration for what the building tank adds.
UAE mains water is soft and treated when it reaches the building. The trouble usually starts after that, in roof tanks, ground tanks, pumps and pipes, which add sediment, rust and a stale taste. Regent filters it out at the inlet, from cartridge housings for villas and cafés to self-cleaning vessels for hotel plant rooms.

Cartridge, self-cleaning or never-off.
Pick by the size of the building and how much upkeep you want. We confirm the model and media once we know your supply and peak flow.
Villas, flats & cafés
Inlet housings that take standard 4.5 inch cartridges, so we can load sediment, carbon or another media to match what your tank adds.
- Flow up to 5.0 m3/h
- 4.5 × 10" or 4.5 × 20" cartridges
- 1" inlet and outlet
- New cartridge every 6 to 12 months, typically
Hotels, towers & plant rooms
A 30 × 72 inch vessel on a metered CE 1.5 inch valve. The media bed cleans itself by backwash, so nobody has to change cartridges.
- 11.8 m3/h service flow
- 697 L vessel
- Backwash set by metered volume
- Sediment, carbon or Birm media
Buildings that never stop
Two vessels take turns. While one filters, the other backwashes or stands by, so the building always has filtered water.
- 11.8 m3/h around the clock
- Smooth changeover, no hydraulic shock
- Five media options
- 2 to 6 units on one Clack controller
Four filters, villa to plant room.

| Model | Type | Service flow | Media | Size | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Regent Big Grey Housings | Cartridge housings | Up to 5.0 m3/h | Sediment, carbon and more | 4.5 × 10" and 4.5 × 20" | Homes, cafes, offices |
| Regent Sediment 3072 | Auto-backwash depth filter | 11.8 m3/h | 367.9 L Filter-AG, Filter-AG PLUS or Birm | 30 × 72" · 697 L | Plant rooms, well and tank supplies |
| Regent Carbon 3072 | Auto-backwash carbon filter | 11.8 m3/h | 180 kg Centaur or 175 kg Filtrasorb 300 | 30 × 72" · 697 L | Chlorine, taste and odour |
| Regent Twin 3072 | Twin alternating | 11.8 m3/h, continuous | GAC, Filtrasorb 300, Filter-AG, Filter-AG PLUS or Birm | 2 × 30 × 72" · 697 L each | Hotels, hospitals, 24/7 sites |
Three methods, matched to your building.
Regent removes the particles and taste that tanks and pipes add. The right method depends on your flow and how hands-off you want it.
Cartridge housing
Regent Big GreyWater runs through a cartridge chosen for your supply. When it is used up, the cartridge is replaced.
- Tank sediment and particles
- Chlorine taste and smell (carbon cartridge)
- Cloudy or discoloured water
Why it matters: A low-cost way to protect a villa, flat or café.
Sediment vessel
Regent Sediment 3072A deep bed of Filter-AG holds particles through its whole depth. A metered backwash lifts the bed and sends the dirt to drain.
- Silt and cloudiness
- Rust and suspended solids
- Iron and manganese (Birm media)
Why it matters: It keeps membranes, softener resin and pumps clean downstream.
Carbon vessel
Regent Carbon 3072Activated carbon takes up chlorine and organic compounds as water passes. Backwash resettles the bed so water cannot channel through it.
- Chlorine and chloramine
- Stale tank taste and odour
- Dissolved organics
Why it matters: Chlorine harms RO membranes and softener resin, so carbon goes first.
A filter neither softens nor disinfects. Tanker or well water that is hard needs a Regal softener, and SovSafe UV after the filter deals with bacteria.
Clean water in, fewer problems out.
Protects equipment
- Valves and shower heads stay clear
- RO membranes last longer
- Softener resin protected
- Pumps and water heaters protected
Water you notice
- No cloudy tank water
- No stale or chlorine taste
- Better coffee and drinks
- Cleaner ice
Little to do
- Backwash cleans the 3072 vessels
- Triggered by volume used, not a timer
- Proven Clack valves
- Serviced by our UAE team

One range, from villa to tower.
Every Regent model uses proven control valves and standard media, so a Jumeirah villa and a hotel plant room get the same engineering at a different size.
- Media chosen for your building's tanks
- The first stage ahead of Regal and RO
- Twin models for buildings that never stop
- Maintenance plan from a fixed annual fee

Regent in the UAE
Most water problems in UAE buildings start after the mains. Desalinated water arrives soft and treated, then picks up sediment, rust and a stale taste in building tanks, pumps and pipes.
Regent tackles that where the water comes in: Big Grey cartridge housings for villas and cafés, and 3072 media vessels for hotel and estate plant rooms, quoted in dirhams.
Common questions
Why does water from my building tank look cloudy?
Usually sediment and rust from the tank and pipework. A sediment filter at the inlet catches it before it reaches taps and appliances.
Who looks after the building tank?
The building owner or management. Filtration protects your flat or business from what the tank adds, but the tank still needs cleaning.
Will a carbon filter fix the stale taste?
Usually. Carbon removes chlorine, taste and odour, which is most of what people notice in tank water.
Supplied, fitted and serviced in the UAE
UAE mains water is desalinated and fairly soft: DEWA reports a typical hardness of 60.7 mg/l in Dubai. Most problems start in building tanks and pipework, so filtration and UV usually matter more here than softening.
