Typical applications
Regent Big Grey Filter Housings in the UAE
In a Dubai villa or office, sediment and stale taste usually come from the building tank, not the mains. A Big Grey housing at the inlet filters every tap at once.
It works between 2 and 6 bar, and cartridges are changed every 6 to 12 months depending on what the tank sends through.
Common questions
Can it go before an RO unit?
Yes. It is often used as RO pre-treatment, catching sediment that would block the membrane.
Which cartridge sizes does it take?
4.5 × 20 inch and 4.5 × 10 inch. We choose by the flow and space on site.
What pressure does it need?
Between 2 and 6 bar.
Supplied, fitted and serviced in the UAE
UAE mains water is desalinated and fairly soft: DEWA reports a typical hardness of 60.7 mg/l in Dubai. Most problems start in building tanks and pipework, so filtration and UV usually matter more here than softening.
Tell us whether the building runs on mains, tanker or well water, and what the system is for. We specify it, quote in dirhams and fit it.
