Typical applications
CrownGuard Commercial Filters in the UAE
A Dubai café's espresso tastes of its water, and that water has usually spent time in a building tank. A CrownGuard cartridge takes out chlorine and tank taste before the water reaches the machine.
On soft desalinated mains, scale is rarely the main worry, but heated kit still benefits from the scale inhibitor. Cartridges retrofit common foodservice filter heads and change by capacity, every 6 to 12 months.
Common questions
Which machines can it serve?
Coffee machines, ice makers, vending machines and combi ovens.
Will it fit my existing filter head?
It is designed as a retrofit for popular foodservice filter heads. Send us the head model and we will confirm.
Does it reduce lead?
Yes. It reduces lead and cysts as well as chlorine, taste and odour.
Supplied, fitted and serviced in the UAE
UAE mains water is desalinated and fairly soft: DEWA reports a typical hardness of 60.7 mg/l in Dubai. Most problems start in building tanks and pipework, so filtration and UV usually matter more here than softening.
Tell us whether the building runs on mains, tanker or well water, and what the system is for. We specify it, quote in dirhams and fit it.
