Dubai mains water is soft, so on the mains the main problems for a coffee bar are taste and sediment from the building tank. Fibredyne's depth filtration deals with both and holds a lot of dirt before it needs changing.

Common questions
Is a scale inhibitor needed on soft Dubai water?
Less so than in harder areas. It still helps where machines set strict feed-water limits, or where the site uses tanker or well water.
Will it improve coffee taste?
It removes chlorine taste and odour, which is the most common taste fault from stored water.
How often is the cartridge changed?
It depends on volume. Capacities range from 22,700 to 378,500 litres, and we set the change interval to your usage.

UAE mains water is desalinated and fairly soft: DEWA reports a typical hardness of 60.7 mg/l in Dubai. Most problems start in building tanks and pipework, so filtration and UV usually matter more here than softening.
