SovSafe SW24 UV Steriliser
A stainless point-of-entry UV steriliser for UAE villas, boutique hotels and cafes. It sits after the building tank and inactivates up to 99.9% of bacteria and viruses, with nothing added to the water.

Typical applications
SovSafe SW24 UV Steriliser in the UAE
Most UAE water problems start after the meter, in tanks and pumps the building owns. Water that sits in a warm roof tank can pick up odour and sediment, and stored water benefits from a final disinfection step.
The SW24 treats the whole supply on its way out of the tank, at up to 5.4 m³ an hour through a 1.5 inch connection. It needs a mechanical pre-filter in front, which we fit at the same time.
Common questions
Where does the SW24 go in a villa?
On the main line after the roof or ground tank and the pump, with a sediment filter before it. Every tap and shower downstream then gets UV-treated water.
Is it suitable for a well or tanker supply?
Yes, behind the right pre-treatment. Well and tanker water can be harder and dirtier than the mains, so filtration and sometimes softening come first.
What upkeep does it need?
One T585 lamp change a year, as it is rated for 9,000 hours, plus keeping the quartz sleeve and pre-filter clean.
Supplied, fitted and serviced in the UAE
UAE mains water is desalinated and fairly soft: DEWA reports a typical hardness of 60.7 mg/l in Dubai. Most problems start in building tanks and pipework, so filtration and UV usually matter more here than softening.
